Terms of service
Last reviewed: placeholder date. Please read these terms before booking, consulting or ordering.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website, book an appointment, submit an online consultation, upload a prescription or buy from our pharmacy shop. By using the service you accept them.
Not an emergency service
This website does not provide urgent or emergency care. Call 999 in an emergency or NHS 111 for urgent advice. We do not monitor messages outside our published opening hours.
Appointments
Bookings are requests until confirmed by the branch. You can cancel or move an appointment free of charge up to 12 hours before the start time. Later cancellations and non-attendance may be charged at up to 50% of the appointment fee.
Online consultations
Treatment is supplied only where a prescriber judges it clinically appropriate. We may decline to prescribe, ask for more information, or direct you to a face-to-face appointment. A consultation fee may still apply where clinical time has been used.
Prescription supply
We dispense against valid NHS or private prescriptions. Where the law requires the original paper prescription, we cannot release the medicine until we hold it. Controlled drugs and fridge lines must be collected in person with photo identification.
Prices and payment
Prices include VAT where it applies; most medicines are zero-rated. Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider — we never store your card details. Payment is taken when your order is confirmed, and we will tell you before dispatch if an item is unavailable.
Delivery and collection
Tracked UK delivery costs £3.95 and is free on pharmacy orders over £30. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day. Collection orders are held at your chosen branch for 14 days.
Returns and cancellations
For consumer-rights purposes you may cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery. For patient-safety reasons we cannot accept returns of medicines once they have left our premises, unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us immediately if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend accounts used unlawfully or to obtain medicines inappropriately.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
